We are delighted to welcome Heinemann Solutions to our site! From March 2025, practice-oriented safety training courses in accordance with the standards of the Global Wind Organisation (GWO) will be offered in the modern training hall. These include ‘Working at Heights’ (Basic & Refresher), ‘Advanced Rescue Training’, ‘Fire Awareness’ (Basic & Refresher), ‘Manual Handling’ and ‘Enhanced First Aid’ (Basic & Refresher).
The new training hall was specially designed for realistic scenarios and rescue exercises. Customised scaffolding and an original hub of a wind turbine provide practical training conditions. The equipment is complemented by safety-relevant rescue equipment and industry-specific tools. In addition to the GWO training courses, the company is planning a targeted expansion of the training programme in Sassnitz. In future, crane operator licences and electrotechnical training courses will also be offered on site.
Heinemann Solutions will also increasingly offer its established range of services relating to personal protective equipment (PPE) and tools in the region. The portfolio has already included the maintenance, repair, hire and management of PPE as well as rescue and survival equipment for several years. With the presence in Sassnitz, customers now benefit from shorter distances, faster availability of equipment and closer on-site support.
At the opening ceremony last week, Claudia Martens, Head of Economy & Energy, and Karsten Käning, Area Management, welcomed the company on behalf of the entire port and congratulated the two Managing Directors Holger Heinemann and Caspar Spreter on the opening of the site. The traditional presentation of a ship's bell was also a must! ‘Mukran Port is the gateway to the offshore world in the Baltic Sea - we are a central supply and service point for the offshore industry. Heinemann Solutions adds another important building block to this profile. Practical safety training is essential for the offshore wind industry, shipbuilding and the shipyard industry. This establishment once again emphasises the importance of the port for the offshore industry and the maritime economy in Germany,’ says Claudia Martens, Head of Business & Energy at Mukran Port.
We say ‘welcome aboard’, wish you every success and thank you for your confidence in our location!
