Located on Germany's largest island, Mukran Port has excellent transport connections by rail, road and sea. Due to its sea-geographical location on the north-eastern side of the island of Rügen, the port is used as a hub between Central Europe, Scandinavia, the Baltic States and CIS.
Do you or your relatives need assistance with boarding the ferries due to physical impairments? Please let us know your name, travel date and destination port in good time via our contact folrm. We will contact you shortly.
FRS Baltic operates the fastest ferry line between the European mainland and Sweden. A high-speed catamaran with a car deck connects Sassnitz with Trelleborg in southern Sweden in just 2.5 hours. The two departures per day make a day trip possible.
The Bornholmslinjen operates the only ferry sailing between the popular holiday islands of Rügen and Bornholm. The distance of just 55 nautical miles is the shortest direct link from Germany to Bornholm.
