FRS Baltic operates the fastest ferry line between the European mainland and Sweden. A high-speed catamaran with a car deck connects Sassnitz with Ystad in southern Sweden in just 2.5 hours. The two departures per day make a day trip possible.
The Bornholmslinjen operates the only ferry sailing between the popular holiday islands of Rügen and Bornholm. The distance of just 55 nautical miles is the shortest direct link from Germany to Bornholm.
From the A20 in Stralsund please change over to B96 direction Sassnitz. After little more than 30 km, take the B96b to Mukran and follow it until you reach the port. Due to the clear lane guidance you can keep a good overview.
The parking spaces are near the passenger terminal. The way to the car park is signposted.
The parking fees are 6,00 €/day.
Please detach the parking ticket when entering the car park and pay at the ticket machine before departure.
You can pay cash (only in Euro, banknotes up to 50 Euro) or by EC or credit card.
For those arriving by bike, the route is signposted and marked.
Check-in is under the canopy of the terminal stair tower 10 minutes before the ferries leave.
The bus line 18 of the VVR (Verkehrsgesellschaft Vorpommern-Rügen mbH) serves the bus stops "Mukran Fährhafen". From there it is about 200 m to the passenger terminal.

The nearest train stations to the ferry terminal are the train station in Sassnitz (approx. 6 km) and in Binz (approx. 10 km).
The train station in Bergen on Rügen is regularly served by long-distance trains, the regional train Sassnitz-Stralsund runs every full hour.
